Mother's Day Pics (of the kids, of course)

MicahMicah really wanted his picture taken.... We were just about to eat, and Noah was being uncooperative in posing for this pictures. It actually turned out really nice this time.

Noah - notice the rakeOk, the quick story about this picture is that Micah and Noah were eating dinner on the little picnic table that my dad made for Micah a year or so ago. Well, it started out with Micah sitting where Noah is in this picture, and Noah on the opposite side. Eating is a distraction for Micah, but it is not that way with Noah. Noah had, apparently, finished with what was on his plate (for now) and had gone to the "greener pastures" on Micah's side of the table. The best part about this picture, in my opinion, is the sand-box rake that Noah was attempting to use as a utensil. Very funny.

Happy Mother's DayHappy Mother's Day. This was the posed picture that we took and gave to our moms for a mother's day gift. Aren't they cute? (I can't wait 'till there is a pretty lady in the mix there too)

Fire, Coffee, and Bible...sweet.This was more of a random picture for this weekend, but I really enjoy it. We were hanging out outside all night, but the only problem was that I had to do some more studying for Sunday School for the next day (this was on Saturday, of course). Well, I brought out my laptop to do some work so that I could be anti-social yet social at the same time. Well, once everyone else went inside, I decided to capture this memory. I'm actually quite proud of this picture for one reason.

You see, I tried to take the picture but it either looked like a fire with nothing else being distinguishable in the frame (not using a flash) or everything was so lit up that it killed the ambiance of the evening (using a flash). So, I decided to try an alternative picture. In order to keep as much of the mood of the picture intact and yet be able to clearly see both my coffee and my Bible, I turned my laptop so that the lighting of the monitor was illuminating those two objects without distorting the rest of the picture that much.

Fun times.
