September is almost over...wow!

Hello, family and friends. So, I decided to try something a little different for our family updates. I'm doing this for a few reasons, and I hope that you will enjoy this format.
If I publish the posts (updates, pictures, information) here, this is a one-stop shop for all of the newest information for our family.

If I only send e-mails, it is possible that many problems can occur (multiple copies of the e-mail, once you delete your e-mail, the information is gone, etc). This will serve as an update and an archive that you don't have to maintain.

Finally, in a few months, we are going to be going through a fairly sizable change with our family. Our next child is due on 12/3/05. When we're in the hospital and just trying to get back to normal life, it will be much easier for me to update this site with a few pictures and some information as opposed to sending out new emails. This way, you can check our blog out whenever you want to see if there is a new update.

However, in the normal case, I will send out an e-mail alert that this blog has been updated. Also, if you know that someone isn't on my e-mail and who would like to keep up to date with us, send us an e-mail so that I can update my contact information.

Ok - here is the stuff that you really want to hear about:

Well, over the last few weeks, Stephanie and Micah have made a frequent habit of going to the Minnesota Children's Museum. He has really enjoyed a room that has a lot of workable machines, running water, and other fun stuff.

It is amazing how much and how quickly Micah has been changing. For instance, just this morning, he walked up the stairs all by himself - no hands, no railings, no knees...just walking up the stairs. Now, I know, you're thinking that this is small potatoes but he's never done that before. It's one small step for Micah, one giant leap for...well, you get the idea He has also started singing along with his music more and more. He loves his Veggie Tales sound track, and he'll sing along with a lot of nursery rhyme "type" songs. It is fun to hear him do what we all do - make up what sounds like the right word to fill the necessary place.

Stephanie is getting more and more uncomfortable - ready for the birth of the baby. As a matter of fact, just this week she stated (for the first time) that she wanted to have this baby as soon as it was healthy for the baby. She has gone from dreading the birth to wanting to get it over with to get past her uncomfortableness.

The baby is doing well - he's jumping around like...like...well, it sure seems a lot like Micah. He is as active as Micah; actually Steph says that he's MORE active. That's a little scary.

My job is going well. I'm also teaching a Sunday School Class called "the Contenders" and it's been going pretty well. Feel free to visit the Blog that I setup for this class. Don't hesitate to give some comments - on either blog - I really appreciate them.

This picture is of Micah posing with his buddies in the morning. From left to right, it's Elmo, Cailou (Kye-you), Micah, Mr. Bear (mostly under the blanket), and Big Bear. Not pictured: Kosmo Bear, Rainbow Bear, Snowflake (Bear), and Irish Bear. Notice the creativity in the names - they took hours to come up with.

Here is a picture of Micah exacting havoc. Stephanie was getting him ready for bead when the phone ring. Well, it rang just as he was done going potty, so he was bottomless. While Stephanie was on the phone, she heard "This Thomas dry, this Thomas dry, this Thomas dry...." Micah says that only when we ask him if he has to go to prove to us that he doesn't. Well, he wasn't just saying that about the pair of underpants that Stephane had got for him. When she got back to him, he had strewn all of his underwear and pullups all over the room. ALL OVER. This picture (I'm told) only captures a small glimpse of this ordeal.

Here - MIcah is just being himself. He climbed up on the table and posed for this picture. He's got such a great smile.

Thanks for the update. Now we need to see how the boys compare in looks (at birth, early on) with their father
