A Whole New Year

Christmas celebrations were great! We started out on Saturday with the Bucks, and the whole crew +1 (Steven) was there. It was a great time. The highlight (for our family) was the new red bicycle from grandpa and grandma Buck.

On Sunday evening, grandpa and grandma Buck came over to our home and we were able to exchange gifts. Another nice thing was that Warren asked to read the Christmas story, and Micah thoroughly enjoyed that. Micah really wanted to get a picture of him and Noah with their matching jammies...it's pretty cool.

Our festivities continued on Monday, but we weren't going to see my family until the next week (New Year's). As we were just getting on the road, Noah decided to call off our trip by throwing up all over. Suffice it to say that we spent the next week (my vacation) nursing a seamless flow of sickness (Noah, then Micah, then Noah with 5 new teeth, etc.). We're still dealing with it, but my folks made the trip up to see us this last weekend, so we were able to celebrate Christmas with the exchanging of gifts with them at that time.

Today was my day off for the week, and we took the boys to Chuck E Cheese's. Noah is an undaunted crazy-man. We got to the little kid area and he got right over to the slide, climbed up it (this first picture), and then proceeded to go head first down the slide. Then he repeated the action over and over and over.... By the way, the whole "head first" thing, Micah has still not done yet. I think we have some very different boys on our hands, and it will be exciting to see how things turn out.
